Sola Upper Secondary School is a multicultural School with students from approximately 25 countries. All in all, approximately 20% of our student mass, consists of students with ethnic origin outside of Norway.

Many of these students have arrived our country fairly recently. The school has a clear focus on this group of students.

We are proud to be part of three project in the Learning Migration network:
YAM 2008, Unity through Contrasts and AMOS.

In addition we are also involved in a pilot project, intiated by the Norweigain Educational Department, to map and develop good models for education of youth with scarse schooling and a short stay in Norway.

Localy, we participate in a regional network of schools in the three Norwegian counties of Rogaland, Hordaland and Vest-Agder. All schools in this network offer education to a multicultural student base. The network meets for minimum two conferances per year.

Besides this we cooperate with four local secondary schools, in a humanitarian based project to promote Health, Activity and Learning among Palestinian Youth in Libanon and Palestine.
