The LearningMigration Network has been invited to the annual conference of the Lifelong Learning Program (Barcelona May 18, 2010) along with some other projects/networks representing what has been termed "European Success Stories". The conference will discuss visions for the next program period (2014-2020).
This invitation is a nice gesture to work being done by partners and members in the two networks MIR (2002-2005) and LearningMigration (2005-2008/09).
Representing the LearningMigration Network is the Norwegian coordinator (D. D. Daatland) and the Swedish coordinator of the Nightingale Program (Carina Sild Lönroth) as a best practice example of excellent collaboration between "networks" (LearningMigration) and "projects" (MentorMigration). Carina Sild Lönroth is also representing the newly established Nightingale Mentoring Network, which is open to new members that are interested in implementing the Nightingale concept in their countries.
