The purpose of the seminar group for teacher training (TT) is to discuss collaboration i between teacher trainers across the LearningMigration network, identify common grounds and also identify where TT is different.

The group will also discuss a strategy for coming up with project ideas that can give the group an independent financial platform. Such projects would in most cases be Comenius 2.1 projects (for training of teachers as opposed to Comenius 1 school projects). There will be examples given of such projects and project ideas in the contact seminar on Tuesday/Wednesday.

Two such projects are the MILES Com 2.1 project and the Nightingale pCom 2.1 (traning of mentors).
Both these projects have been approved and will start end of 2006 and wok for the next years with activities for training of teachers and student teachers.

In the Stavanger conference (April 2006) some more ideas were discussed. These will be discussed further in September this year.
